$40 million Unique Hindu Temple in Canada

* Spend $40 million to build
* completed in 18 months
* Tones of Turkish limestone, Italian marble, Burmese teakwood and Indian sandstone have been used
* 35,000 stone pieces
* Craftsmen who used 24,000 hunks of Italian marble, limestone from Turkey, Burmese teakwood and Indian sandstone
* First Hindu temple in Canada to be built according to ancient Indian Vedic principles
* Carved only using hammer and chisel* Around 2,000 craftsmen, 100 of them flown from India
* The walls are all load-bearing there's no steel skeleton here holding the whole thing up.
* No steel was used at all, it's stone piled on stone. The columns, of which there are 340
and extra strong
* 1,800-square-metre Indo-Canadian Museum of Cultural Heritage
* Temple will last 1,000 years
* Architecture by a Hindu Monk
