Buy Nothing Day

November 24th of every year is the International Buy Nothing Day. No need to confuse about this day. Just simple - Spend a day with out spending !!

Everything we buy has an impact on our planet. Buy Nothing Day highlights the environmental and ethical consequences of consumerism.

Buy Nothing Day in India is not at all famous. In Bangalore what I noticed that if the shop is not having a reduction sale, no body will peep into that shop. So some shops will increase the price o and put some kind of special offers for their stuff and people are happy to buy things from there.

Buy Nothing Day is an informal day of protest against consumerism. This is the day you can challenge yourself and stop shopping.
