Shame to India : Protest against dowry
A 22-year-old Hindu woman in western
India (
Rajkot in
Gujarat state) - Pooja Chauhan - has stripped to her underwear in public to protest over alleged abuses from her husband's family for not providing a dowry. Paying and accepting dowry has been illegal in
India for more than 40 years, but it still goes on. Any how after this incident the eyes of the police got open and her husband had been arrested and he is behind the bar now.

ReplyDeleteWomen folks should have conviction not to marry dowry taker. There can't be dowry taker without dowry giver. Who should be hanged first- Giver or Taker? Of course, giver because of their giving someone is accepting. Nonetheless, we talk differently depending upon the side we are (boy or girl) The gretest exploiter of women are women. Just think over. Honestly...
