  9. Hi all, I dropped a mail to Regional Manager - South, 3M India to know the availability of N95 Respirator (Model 8571 and 511)in Bangalore, India. Following is the reply I got from 3M India

"These respirators are out of stock. We understand the critical requirement but current demand is too high as compared to the regular demand of this product. This material is not available with any distributors. "

Hope you got the clear picture of N95 Respirator availability in Bangalore. Mostly this is the situation in all over India.

  19. Swine flu is very dangerous disease. Its almost fatal. Like its is said, "Prevention Is Better Than Cure", one should cover face with mask to protect from swine flu virus. The N-95 masks are popular. It is basically a surface for entrapment of the virus from outside, so one should wash the mask on a regular basis followed by washing one’s hands and face.

  20. Respirator masks should be fitted correctly to the wearer and not be obstructed by facial hair or jewelry. A poorly fitted respirator mask has greater potential to allow air particles to enter through gaps along the edges of the mask, providing lower levels of protection against the inhalation or spread of particles than a well fitted one.
